Interior Design Trends for 2026

As we are about to step in 2026, interior design will continue to evolve in exciting and expressive ways. This year, we saw a shift from sterile grays and icy whites to more earthy and warm tones. Creating a space with hues like terracotta, clay, olive greens, sandy beiges, and browns invites balance. Over the year, we’ll also be seeing more deeper and moodier tones like burgundy, muddy blues and deep greens to bring richness and personality to walls, cabinetry and furniture.

In 2025, we did see more spaces with mixed metals and we’ll continue to see more of this in 2026. Materials like natural stone, rattan, linen and natural solid wood are going to be making dramatic statements. Marbles like Calacatta Viola are boldly veined and act as a focal point in kitchens and bathrooms.

Curved furniture, rounded tables and arched architectural details brings an inviting quality to rooms. Moving away from harsh lines and rigid structures, this makes rooms feel more approachable and organic to everyday comfort.

One of the biggest trends we’ll see in 2026 is creating meaningful spaces. Interiors should tell a story and embody the personality of the homeowner. It can be filled with cherished objects, a bold wallpaper, or a cozy reading nook that keeps the individual style and keeps the space functional to everyday living.
